Organize Paper Records of Graduating Students

Calendar Until Jun 1, 2027

Description

Background

The Office of Registration & Records serves more than 17,000 students who attend Rochester Public Schools, most visibly when the office welcomes new students who enroll in our school district.

Records & Registrations has an ongoing need related to graduating students. Rochester Public Schools celebrates hundreds of graduates each year. After graduation, the paper records of students must be reviewed, and if appropriate, removed. This process has been facilitated by a volunteer for many years, and we are seeking new volunteers to assist.

Positive Impact

The Office of Registration & Records greatly values customer service for families who need help. Throughout the day, our staff greet families in person while simultaneously performing background work to provide families and staff the data they need to succeed. Volunteers help the team perform both of these functions effectively.
